A Digi Op or Digi Tech plays a key role while on photo shoots. A Digi op manages computers, monitors, cameras and files. Often we are sitting next to the photographer on the computer making sure the photo’s colour, sharpness & exposure are all correct. Warning the photographer if something is not looking correct with the image or file.  Digi Op’s will also manage the file naming profiles and file locations. A Digi op is always adapting. We have to organise the folders using the photographer’s specific workflows and system. All the while making sure all files are securely backup and stored on a second drive.

From time to time, you may be required to do some on-the-spot colour grading, postproduction in photoshop or mockups in InDesign. This process enables, photographers, art directors and clients to see how the images fit into their designs and layouts.
