Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, how long we keep it and the say you have over it. Plain and short, because there is not much of it.

DigiOp, Dylan Madden Photographer, Dublin, Ireland. Last updated August 2026.

The short version: we hold your enquiry so we can answer it and run your hire, we do not sell it to anyone, and you can ask us to show or delete it at any time, capture@digiop.ie.

Who is responsible for your data

DigiOp, the trading name of Dylan Madden Photographer of Dublin, Ireland, is the data controller. Contact us at capture@digiop.ie or +353 86 328 9898.

What we collect, and when

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your enquiry details only to answer you and to arrange and run a hire. Our lawful basis is that this is either necessary to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform one (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in running the business and replying to you (Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics are used with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies it needs to work, plus, if you accept, analytics cookies as described above. You choose in the cookie notice when you first visit, and you can change your mind by clearing the site's cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. The only parties who handle it are the service providers that run our email, our website hosting and, if you allowed it, our analytics, and they act on our instructions. Where a provider is outside the EU, the transfer relies on the safeguards the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry only as long as there is a live or likely booking behind it, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records, then we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form, and you can withdraw any consent you gave. Email capture@digiop.ie and we will sort it. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable measures to protect the little we hold, and we keep it to a minimum on purpose.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
